Electroacupuncture is one of the four core techniques of the Holistic Fertility® method and is applied in a particularly gentle way, without the use of needles.
It is based on the principles and points of traditional acupuncture, with the difference that stimulation is applied externally through a specialized device that delivers mild electrical impulses to selected points on the body. The skin is not pierced and the application is non-invasive.
Within the Holistic Fertility® method, the points are not selected at random. The application is individualized and focuses exclusively on points associated with supporting reproductive function.
Particular emphasis is placed on the pelvic area and on creating conditions that support local blood circulation, as well as the overall regulation of the body. Research on acupuncture in female reproduction has demonstrated, among other findings, effects on blood flow to the reproductive organs and on neuroendocrine mechanisms.
Its Role in the Holistic Fertility® Method
The aim of Electroacupuncture is to serve as the physical and functional component of the overall support offered by the method. Depending on each woman's needs, it is used with the aim of:
- supporting blood circulation in the pelvic area and reproductive organs
- supporting reproductive function
- promoting relaxation and balance of the nervous system
- providing overall support to the body, whether the fertility journey involves natural conception or assisted reproduction
Electroacupuncture does not work in isolation. Within the Holistic Fertility® method, it is combined, according to each woman's needs, with Reflexology, Healing Visualization and EFT Tapping, so that support is not limited to the body but also encompasses stress, thoughts and emotions.
